Logo Design Newcastle
Crafts / Clocks / Tradition
Using an old typeface with a wood grain sign you could easily see this hung outside a craft shop, antique dealers or traditional retail outlet.
The bevelled effect gives a 3D appearance when combined with the inner shadow. The clock graphic adds the finishing touch and could be any variety of items suited to the retailer.
In this case the clock graphic is detailed to give a movement effect and even the impression of a manufacturer name.
The Food / Catering Company
We wanted something to highlight cleanliness, zest, quality and a fresh feel. Whilst you might not notice it immediately, there is a gradient on the main colours throughout the word 'Example' to ensure the colours flow through the design.
The logo could stand alone for branding and your mind would still establish a link with the company. It gives an abstract yet modern feel with solid colour coming from blocks and not objects.
Subtle gradient on images are virtually un-noticable but critical to the finished item.
Boutique Hotel / Restaurant
Elegant, discerning and subtle in taste, that's what we wanted to achieve for our example boutique hotel or restaurent.
We used a hollow outlined style for emphasis with scripted text to communicate a personal touch. The slight flocking decoration remains subtle because of a simple two colour scheme - clean, stylish and modern.
A gradient was used on the decoration for a touch of aged discretion.
Hairdressers / Barbers
How do you combine a decades old symbol with modern simplicity and boldness?
Well, here at Clarity Web Design Newcastle we introduced an ultra modern yet classic feel. The aluminium effect text with the scissors creating not one but two text characters give it superb composition.
It gives a unique appeal and incredible strong brand with minimal fuss and maximum impact.
Trendy Youth Fashion

Children / Kids
It could be a party provider, play centre or clothing brand - because it's fun, bright and bold silhouetted shape is bouncing with playfulness.
We added a shadow for extra depth on the balloon and introduced the energetic and young font.
On this design we deliberately avoided using a common primary colour scheme, teddy bears or counting blocks - so the brand can carry to a number of purposes.
Professional / Corporate Services
It could be an accounting company, solicitors or a plethora of professional services.
The simple colours, restricted to tri-tone, give consideration for printing of letterheads and associated costs whilst the cleanliness and corporate look is undeniable.
Using the Sans Serif font we bolded the name for extra impact, added the underline element and the professional image is immediately established. The clean lines give strength, integrity and confidence that suits the sector.

Furniture Retail
We used warm colours to emphasise comfort with a hint of gold for luxury and expense to convey a quality feel.
The sofa was deliberately chosen as a strong and bold shape. The company might even decide to change the sofa depending on the season or fashion trend - the logo lends itself to easy substituion.
The colours of the sofa then flow into the text and contrast against a deep red background block. Take one look and you immediately know what this company sells.

Joinery / Flooring

Luxury Goods
In creating a luxury feel we opted for gold and black with a delicate shine to convey an aspiring or expensive mood.
The bevelled effect surround was then shadowed for the 3D emblem look that would look stunning online or hanging outside a retail branch.
Finally we added a sheen and highlights with a stylish script font. They deliver a timeless elegance yet modern finish to a strong aesthetic appeal.

Grunge Design
This worn, aged or tired effect reflects the Grunge theme associated with many modern brands.
The font suits the roughness of logo and the final result is achived with strategically placed but accidental looking paint-run effects and overspray highlights.
Incredibly popular today, this type of design has immediate appeal and is of a type that Clarity Web Design Newcastle are frequently asked for.
High Street
Standing out on the High Street is no easy task.
Bold, bright and simple work well - and migrate easily to online and print media. So, we kept this design to 3 contrasting colours and utilised a big and bold font.
It immediately catches the eye and stands out from the crowd. We introduced a slight drop shadow and gradient for subtle emphasis on the text.

Automotive
Simple, outlined and bold. This black and red contrasted design is immediately identifiable with the business type.
The stylised car uses strokes commonly associated with design but is finished with front and rear coloured shapes for indicators and headlights.
A big bold font with white outline gives a clean and easy to read brand name with the underlining curve adding movement, speed and flair.
