Samsung AllShare

Samsung, one of the worlds largest and most successful electronics retailers, has recently launched a new concept of data sharing between their products. From laptops to mobiles and video cameras to TV, the new Samsung Allshare allows users to wirelessly transfer data from device to device to view and review content and data.

The streaming of videos, photos and other content is a very powerful tool. Samsung wanted a motion graphics video based on animated elements that had been produced to highlight the capabilities of the Allshare system.

Motion Graphics Video

ClarityWEB have produced a one minute long motion graphics video based on the 3D animated elements that had been produced previously by Samsung.

The idea of the video, produced as a Flash video to be embedded onto the Samsung website, is to promote the ease of use of the AllShare system.

ClarityWEB have specifically added an opening sequence, video transitions, cut the animated videos to fit within the timescale and added a final section detailing the wifi connection with product shots and an animated sequence.

Key Considerations of the Project

With any video and graphics that is produced by ClarityWEB, the primary concern and consideration must come down to user accessability, something that we take very seriously.

With the client being involved with hardware and performance, and always associated with quality, the quality of the video was obviously paramount to the success of this project. There is always a trade off between quality and filesize for the online environment, an issue that is more manageable with faster broadband speeds, but still remains.

ClarityWEB produced the video in a multitude of different formats, and secondly and more importantly for our client, we also produced a range of options for the video with a varying degree of quality / filesize. This gave the client the choice of video they felt would be best for the site.
