Vacancy - Web Graphic Designer

Are you a talented web graphic designer looking for a varied, exciting and challenging full-time role in the Newcastle Upon Tyne area? If so, ClarityWEB would like to hear from you.

As one of the regions best known and established web design companies we have built our reputation on the delivery of custom designed websites for clients ranging from SME's through to blue-chip and multi-national organisations.

We require an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our web team (and share the Pool Table, Air Hockey and 42" TV in the web design offices!) and produce work of an exceptional standard on commissioned projects.

Applications are invited from candidates who meet the following requirements and can demonstrate their flair, passion and talent for design:

Essential key skills

Strong HTML and CSS coding
Expert in Adobe Photoshop use
Excellent Adobe InDesign and Illustrator experience
Strong Adobe Flash and After Effects skills
Experience in playing a lead role in concept design to production
Good understanding of JQuery
The ability to produce high quality work to tight deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Advantageous (though not essential) skills

PHP/MySQL development experience
Web server configuration/deployment experience

Anything else?

You are likely to have graduated with a degree in a digital design or related discipline and already proven your ability in a web design role. However, we will consider applications from exceptional (but you will have to be very special!) graduates seeking their first full-time role in a professional web design environment.

You will be required to be in direct contact with clients during the design and development lifecycle, so your personality and ability to convey our professional standards is key in joining our offices.

Whilst PHP and MySQL skills would be an advantage, you will not be responsible for database development and server-sided elements of projects. You will work alongside a Lead Developer in this area.
